Our story
A coffee house built around the second cup.
Qahwa & Co. opened on the Boulevard in 2022 to put two coffee cultures in one room: the Gulf’s tradition of hospitality and the precision of modern specialty coffee.

Where it started
Two friends and a cupping table.
The founders met at a coffee tasting in Al Fahidi, a few streets from where Dubai’s first coffee houses served merchants off the creek.
One had grown up with qahwa poured for every guest at home; the other had spent ten years roasting in Melbourne and Addis Ababa. The idea was simple: a place where a saffron flat white and a dallah of Arabic coffee are made with the same care, and where nobody is rushed out of their seat.
The room
Walnut, brass and morning light.
Designed with a Dubai studio around one long bar, so you can watch every drink being made, and a majlis room for when the table is bigger than the plan.

What we believe
Three things we will not change.
The guest is never rushed
No table turn times, no bill brought before it is asked for. The qahwa is topped up until you shake your cup.
Everything that can be made here, is
Our roast, the croissant dough, the date syrup, the pistachio paste and the granola. It is slower, and it tastes like it.
Farmers are named and paid fairly
We buy from importers who publish farm-gate prices, and we print every farm’s name on the board and on the bag.
In numbers
A small team, a busy bar.
Twenty-two people across the café, bakery and roastery, from eleven countries.
- 2roast days a week in Al Quoz
- 18 hfor every batch of cold brew
- 27layers in a butter croissant
- 24seats in the majlis room
From our guests
In their words.
The saffron flat white is the reason I leave home ten minutes early. It tastes like saffron, not syrup.
We booked the majlis corner for my father’s birthday. They had the qahwa poured before we sat down.
Walked over from the fountains at 9 pm and still got a proper filter coffee. The cardamom bun travelled home in my bag.
Quiet enough for a 7 am call, good enough coffee that I stay for a second cup after it.
The breakfast tray for two is generous. Order it, then order the kunafa anyway.
Come and see it
The bar opens at seven.
Walk in for a cortado, or book a table for a longer breakfast.
